5/365 5th January 2010 - Defiance

Yes, I'm being defiant. I'm doing a self-portrait of my face without actually showing most of my face.

I hate being in front of the camera. Soooo bad. But there are so many wonderul self-portraits out there that I've seen and been inspired by and I want to get my confidence up in selfies throughout this year. So self-portrait Tuesday it is then.

  1. Cheater.

I have given up on ever being able to do self-portraits. So even though you're cheating, you're still light years ahead of me.

Plus, this is a really neat self-portrait. It says a lot. Well done. :)

  3. I'm not sure if exposing 1/4 of your face counts as a self portrait but I'm known to be wrong (and often); just kidding! I like the composition, color and softnes of the picture. I'm now inspired to hop on the other side of my lens.

  4. You have such pretty eyes, I am sure the rest is just as pretty. However, this photograph is amazing, the composition and lighting are excellent as is your pose. I now feel I have to do a self portrait too lol.
